Finnish punk band TIIKERI has released their 3rd EP, a joint release from their own label TIIKERI RECORDS, America's GENERAL SPEECH, and Japan's VOX POPULI. Having established their own unique style, the name of a certain Japanese band that was once necessary to describe this band is no longer needed. The EP contains four exhilarating tiger punk tracks sung in Finnish, with a melancholic feel. (Although there are moments where you think, "Huh? What's this...?" haha)
The title track, "PUNK ON TÄRKESÄÄ," which even evokes a sense of nostalgia, sings, "If you plan your own live shows, they'll never disappoint. Even if the songs are about the harshness of this world,
they give you hope, a reason to stand up. That's why DIY punk is essential." Yes! Let's always punk! Pogo on a nazi!
